Back on Track

We went on vacation, and have been in and out of town for the past 19 days. The only exercising we were able to do was walking on our self guided tours in Charleston, SC, and Savannah, GA. It wasn't exercising, but helped out.
We tried watching what we ate although we really didn't restrict ourselves on what we ate. We were inactive for a total of 19 days.
Today we started off by weighing in which was a pleasant surprise. My wife had lost 2 pounds and I lost approximately 1 pound.
Before we left on vacation we had been riding 12 miles three days a week, and doing our strength training three days a week. Today we started back into our biking and we really weren't pushing for distance, but with the beautiful fall weather here in North Florida, we were able to finish our 12 mile bike ride in just about 70 minutes.
We feel great about getting right back on track without suffering too much.
