Doing it right, even on the go!

Every Sunday in the fall after church (for about 10 weeks) we are off and running to my two oldest sons' football games. Of course, we all know how difficult it is to eat while you are out as it is...try the concession stand food. Ugh, down right not good for you!
This year I was determined to do it right. That meant planning ahead and packing a lunch for me to eat while I was there and making sure I had a dinner ready to either heat up or one in the crock-pot for when we came home. We are six weeks in the season and so far, so good. I've done well at planning it and executing that plan. No longer do I feel weighed down and bloated after the rush of fast food/concession stand food, plus I used to overeat during these games. Not the case this year, thank you, Jesus!
The added benefit to doing this...you save yourself not only calories, but $$$$.
