Hello, friends. It's been CRAZY since I last visited and posted. So much has changed in my life. That's why it's taken me so long to get back on here. First of all, I feel SO MUCH BETTER!!! I can walk more and do more. My life has changed completely. When i do things, I'm not always worried about where i'll sit or how far I can go. It's just different. I have lost 67 lbs since June 17th. I was 517 when I started. I'm now 450! It's an average loss of about 4lbs per week...and these have been some hard weeks. I've plateaued...not really cheated, but gotten bored with the program...and I've had to have some long, hard talks with myself to stay motivated. Thank God for friends and family who support me.

I started a new job (with the same company; it was a promotion) on Monday. I'd lost 3lbs by Wednesday! There's a lot of physical activity and I thank God because I have lost the weight. I wouldn't have been able to do the job if I hadn't...that's how much i'm up and down and on my feet all day. I can't even describe what it's like to be mobile. I can go into stores and no worry about asking for a chair so that I can's amazing, really.

I want to encourage all those who say they can't do it and that it's hard. No, it's not a walk in the park, but when you finally get to the place where you see that you are worth it and that you area worth investing the effort in, it becomes second nature...really. I promise. I know what I'm talking about. When you see your health as part of a greater purpose for your life and you start to see what you can do in the lives of others because of what God is doing in's phenomenal. Please, if you need encouragement or a friend, someoneto confide in about other issues that lead to poor health habits, or just to share or talk about anything...I'm here for you!

That's WONDERFUL!!!! Congratulations & Keep up the HARD work!! It is hard sometimes - not to get bored & fall into a rut... but you are right... you just have to know that YOU are worth pushing forward... and YOU have to MAKE yourself do it! Good job!
