Tip of the Day - Exercise – Is it worth the trouble?
For many of us, the hardest part of exercising is just getting started. Whether it’s persuading yourself to take a walk after work, dragging your weary self to the gym, or motivating yourself to follow a workout DVD before hitting the couch, it’s just plain hard! But you also probably know by now, once you actually get going, it’s really not so bad.
Eating a healthy diet is a huge part losing weight, but exercise is also a major part of the equation. For starters you burn more calories when you exercise. It boots your mood (what’s better than that after a stressful day at the office?). Exercise also helps you sleep (more sleep equals less stress). There you have it – three great reasons to make fitness a priority.
So get moving! With every step you take, your weight-loss goal gets closer, and your health risks slip further away.
