2 Cheat Days in a Row and I've lost weight!?

This week I had two cheat days in a row. I ate a big bag of chips during those two days, had a chocolate bar and I ate out twice in one day - a veggie sub and a veggie burger with onion rings for dinner last night. The rest of my meals were good and healthy.
So today, when I stepped on the scale, I was fully expecting a gain. Much to my surprise, I'm down four pounds over last week!
I can't believe it. For months now I've been struggling to stay in my calorie range. I'm also not very consistent when it comes to my cardio workouts, so progress has been very slow for me. I tend to follow the plan faithfully for a few weeks and then get frustrated and fall off the wagon for a while. Since May I've been going up and down, gaining and losing the same 3 or 4 pounds. Now I've lost those 4 plus three more.
The good news is that I now feel a real sense of hope that I will be able to get back below 200 pounds again. I've just got to remember to be gentle with myself!
