So last night I went to the gym with the boyfriend, his brother and his wife. They all do strength training and stuff and thats what they like but for me I am not a fan. I love to run but I am just not in running shape right now and don't want to hurt myself so last night I asked the lady in the front desk what class is good. She suggested Zumba. I was hesitant as I am not a fan of working out in front of people and I can barely stand up on my own 2 feet let alone dance. However I went in and tried it anyways. I was really nervous because there were people in there who had been doing it for a long time and I was new to it. I had a blast doing it though. It was a little difficult and I had a hard time doing certian things especially moving my hips but I totally loved it. I got a great work out and when I looked into how many calories it burns I was in shock. In one hour I burned about 500-600 calories. I can't do that running. It was great and I can't wait till Monday so I can go back and do it again. If you have this offered at your gym I highly recommend you give it a shot because it's a really great workout.
