Starting Over

It seems like for the past month or so, I've just been going through the motions. I've been checking in on Spark, and posting here and there. I've tracked my exercise, and food once in awhile. But, my heart wasn't really in it. I haven't been drinking my water, or really paying attention to what I've been eating. I basically just said "I'm done", and threw in the towel.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

I'm done having a pity party for myself. Yes, I'm working more than I would like to. Yes, I'm not getting as much sleep as I should be getting. Yes, things are rough right now. I can't wait for my life to be "perfect" to get back on the wagon.

Today was my starting over day. I dusted off my journal, stocked the pantry, and I rested today. I'm feeling a little better mentally. I'm still getting over a nasty virus, so I'm not quite back physically, but I'm getting there.

I'm going back to stage one, and I've started over at Day 1 in the 100 Days of Weight Loss Book. I'm getting back on track. NOW!!!!

    Good for you! I just started reading the 100 Days of Weightloss today! WOW! What a book! I love the first day's mantra of "I used to do that, but not anymore!" I'm planning on using that ALOT!!!!

    Dani - So glad you are back, I have missed seeing you around! I think maybe this was catchy I have been having the same problem with ugly results. I'm hoping the October Challenge will get me back in gear and I hope it helps you to.

    We all fall off track, and we all go through those moments of wanting to just give up, but the great thing is you haven't. You stumbled and now your trying to regain your balance again. Don't worry, as long as you never stop trying you will never be a failure.

    I also had stop and is trying to get back. I just lost interest on the food and everything to log on everyday is to much for me. So I just check in sometimes to get encouragement and do the rest by myself so far Im doing good so its totally up to you what works for you but dont give up whether youre on sparkpeople or not. emoticon

    emoticon You can do it. I think if we're honest we've all been at the same spot in some form or another. There is no shame in picking back up and continuing on even if it is at the beginning.
