Wow, I'm busy!

You know, when I stop and really think about what all I do, I'M not even sure how I do it (except for God's grace!). I'm up at 6 a.m. every morning with prayer and devotions. Make sure my husband has a good breakfast and start laundry. See my DH off to work, then raise a couple of the children. Fortunately, I do have two older DD who help me tremendously. (The rest of the children filter down as the day goes on.) After about an hour or so of school, it's breakfast and family devotions. Clean up's next and back to school. We normally finish with everyone by 2 p.m., but there is always atleast one or more of them who finish by noon. So they help with lunch around 1 p.m. Around that time is when I try to get a walk in of some sort. Then help whoever needs to wrap things up. In the midst of schooling and really after school, I'm sewing here and there with things that I can complete for orders. I TRY to have a home-cooked meal every evening, so that means I better have planned ahead and have it ready by 4:30 p.m. so my DH can take my two older DS to football practice. Once they leave it's time for mom to really workout for about an hour. I try to get the little ones involved with this, however, my youngest DS likes to sit on me when I do any type of floor exercise. Try do crunches with a 17-month old sitting on your stomach...urgh! We've also started baking for our cookie business in the evening. More sewing, clean everything up, then it's bed time for all of the children around 10 p.m. Then mommy gets a little quiet time. I love to read and look at new recipes that I'd like to try. Or how I'm going to organize my living room/dining room that we are in the process of remodeling (the new furniture will arrive next Tuesday, can't wait!!!!). By the time it's all said and done, it's midnight. When my head hits that pillow I don't remember a thing till the alarm goes off (however, most of the time I wake before that even goes off, thankfully...I'm not crazy about waking to a buzzer :-))
In the midst of ALL of that (and I'm sure I forgot something!) I love checking onto SparkPeople. It really had motivated me to get fit, stay fit and eat healthy for family and me. ~I belong to a local internet group with different classified ads sent via e-mail. Almost three years ago, a young lady sent a quick e-mail regarding SparkPeople and her referral name. I checked it out and the rest is history!~
