It has been ages since I posted a food diary or added anything to my Sparkpage!

I have had some situations: Mother with cancer, torn meniscus, and the never-ending spondy. The knee problems crashed my modified exercise program, that was already slashed since I had to give up Curves. Boy, I never estimated the amount of endorphins that I had gained from exercising! I spiraled into a lack of esteem abyss.

Now, logic would say: Make your eating the emphasis and get some positive strokes from losing weight. No, no. Self pity would not be served by that! So, I gained back inches and pounds, which really helped the knee. Logic would say: emphasize upper body training. Logic went on a vacation. lol

So in two weeks, five months after the L&I claim, I am finally having a meniscus tear and pallelar polishing surgery and will be off work for 2-8 weeks, depending on how I do. I am nervous about it, only having birthed babies in my medical experience.

But I am back! Armed with the amazing soup diet for a week to jumpstart me and hubby, who is excited to participate.

Here we go!
