What's been happening in the past 6(!) months

We've been on vacation all summer it seems. In June we went to FL (daughter), GA (son), NC (brother), and LA (good friends). Before we even got started my dh stated that we'd never do *this* again! He does all the driving and just the thought kinda got him down. But we made it and had a good time, too. Since then, we've made several trips to Florien, LA, where dh's best friend now pastors (his wife is *my* best friend - makes it nice, huh?) and several trips to Hot Springs, AR to visit my sister in law, who suffered renal failure in Apr. and is still trying to get her energy back while on a low potassium, low sodium, high protein diet (she says it's pretty BLAH!). We're leaving again tomorrow - this time to Texarkana, TX to celebrate our daughter's youngest son's 3rd birthday and then we plan to go to Hot Springs for a few days. Then we plan a week at home and the travel begins again. We plan to go to Florien for several days and then to GA for the birth of our 10th grandchild (a boy!); we plan to go see our daughter in FL on that trip, too. For some reason, I feel very nomadic lately!

Hope everyone had a great summer and will have an even greater fall, winter, and spring.

P.S. During our "perpetual" vacation, I managed to gain quite a bit of weight, but now - due to sickness (nothing major) and medical tests, I've gotten some of it off and am slightly below my Weight Watcher's goal weight and hope to stay there!
