Mirror, mirror on the wall…

You’re browsing through some old photos, and you come across a picture of yourself taken several years ago. What do you think? How does that picture compare to what you see in the mirror today? Do you look at the picture of you before you started gaining weight and think, “Now, there’s the real me”?

We all carry an ideal image of who we are, and how we look. If you’ve gained weight, that model image usually dates back to how you used to look. But here’s the wonderful thing: As you move closer to your goal weight not only will you see your journey reflected in the mirror, but one day soon, you will find that without even thinking about it, you’ll see the real you in the mirror again.

Between photos and the mirror we find truths in what we're looking at that most often times difers from what's in our mind. I guess that's why so many of us avoid photos and only look into mirrors when absolutely necessary!

I think that depends on how old you were when the photo was taken and how old you are at the time you look at that photo again. If there are 20 or 30 or even only 10 years between, I will NEVER see the real me again as time leaves it's marks.
