I am sitting here having an argument with myself, and I am not quite sure if I am winning or losing. The argument is on whether I should change my tracker or not.
Yes I have removed 42.5 pounds, but that is gone now. What keeps staring me in the face is the 140 number at the other end of the spectrum. I no longer have to remove that much. In fact, I now have less than 100 although not by much. I know that I can never go back to eating the way I was if I want to maintain the fact that my feet are no longer swelling. That is a given. It is just that number 140 seems like such an impossibility at the moment.
I realize that the tracker is there, not just so I can track my weight removal, but so others can see it as well and possibly motivate others.
A 40 pound removal doesn't seem like a lot to a person my size. It is a huge amount and I know that, but that number at the other end is always so daunting.
Oh well, I will wait till my two challenges are done on the weekend and decide then whether to change it or not. emoticon
