Losing weight isn't an overnight fix; it's a lifestyle change
You're losing weight; that's a good thing. Actually, it's a great thing! But we all know that the weight doesn't just fall off, it takes work. You have to make choices and changes and yes definitely, some of them can be tough.
It can be tempting to complain or moan about how hard it is to make these sacrifices, but don't go there. It really is a waste of energy. And if you complain too much, it's likely you'll decide this lifestyle change is too hard, and fall right back into your old habits.
If you find yourself entering this state of mind, stop! Instead remind yourself why you made the decision to lose weight in the first place. Be proud of the progress you've made so far, whether you've lost 2 pounds or 20. Know that your hard work will pay off and it's worth every bit of effort you invest. With this perspective you'll be back on track in no time.
