All kinds of stuff

I'm not really sure where to start! I have so much to catch up on.

First, challenges:

C25K---done! I did my last 30 minute jog today :). I love that I can do that. I have been doing 3 miles at the track which takes me about 35 minutes and doing a 30 minute jog around the neighborhood which is about 2.75 miles. So I don't jog as fast as the program suggests, but I think a 12 minute mile is just fine!

Amazing Race--we are almost to the last state! I as excited to be finishing because I can't keep my motivation up for much longer...lol. I need to move on to concentrating on something else. I will miss my team, but I know some of will always be SparkFriends emoticon.

QF/1 DAY---doing these when I can. They are nice to keep doing a little throughout the day.

Falling Leaves---still a great challenge. I need to get back on the ball though! I kinda fell off the wagon over the weekend while I was out of town, but I'm picking myself back up!

BLC---Getting more involved with this group. I was a little overwhelmed at first with all the chit chat, but I'm getting into it now :) Hope it helps my motivation. Been keeping up pretty well with all the challenges and looking forward to our walking inner team challenge tomorrow-friday.

Now on to other things.

I have been thinking alot about how to get more participation in the RecipeZaar Addicts group. We have some great members that participate all the time, but we need more friends:)
I plan on first connecting to the site more. I think I'll either wait until next week, or the beginning of october to do this. I don't want to give away my plans, but we'll have more zaar like postings :) If any zaar addicts members have any ideas please let me know!

I will be doing some traveling next month. We are taking the baby to Orlando with my in-laws. He'll be meeting his only cousin for the first time...after 20 months of life...lol. My MIL is making us take him to Disney World. We weren't planning on taking him because he's so young it's so hard to take him to places like that ( we did sea world in august.). But she thinks that since my BIL is take out nephew that our son has to go too. A 4 year old will enjoy Disney, a 20 month old might be miserable.

Two weeks after that I'm taking the baby to visit my brothers and sisters in Eugene, OR. I have never been there and can't wait to see them!! I'm not really looking forward to traveling with the baby without Dh, but I'll just do it and we'll be fine. My brother in the Army gets his leave from Iraq at that time and he bought me a ticket and I can take DS for free until he's 2, so this will probably be the last (and second) free trip for him!

OK, that's it for me tonight. I have to get caught up on my sleep!

Jean, glad to read an update from you. I'm exhausted just reading about all of your challenges.

Of course I'll check the Recipezaar Addicts team page to see your surprise.
