Met up with a friend yesterday who had offered to help me out with a problem I had. When I walked up he said "how much weight have you lost? you look great!" I asked him if it was really that obvious, to which he said it was. I told him I didn't know for sure, I was just sure that as of my weigh in last Thursday afternoon, I had lost 6 pounds. But I can tell by looking at myself in the mirror that I have lost another 2-3 pounds at least since last Thursday...won't know for certain until Thursday around 1pm when I step on the scale. So, while I'm doing this weight loss for myself, it is a good motivator to hear from a friend that you're doing so well and that it shows.

Onto one other thing for the day...Today is bicycle riding day for me! It's not pouring down rain, but it isn't just a light sprinkle either. If it was just a sprinkle, I'd ride no problem. But I would be completely soaked if I rode my bicycle right now. So, I'm going to wait for a few hours and hope it lets up a little bit, if not, then I guess I'll do a walk and session on the elliptical trainer instead and hopefully make up the bicycle riding tomorrow. And then, besides that, I just have light weight lifting for my chest and arms today.

I am glad you are still going to try to ride bikes today. I am too. While growing up in Oregon made us accustomed to rain, it didn't make me accustomed to lightning, and we're expecting that today. DVD's are on the backburner if outdoors doesn't work out. We can do it!!! GO GIRL!!!
