Affirmation: "Breathing in, I calm my body and spirit. Breathing out, I am content dwelling in the present moment."
When A Loved One is the hardest thing in the world to let say farewell...
This passage on forgiveness has helped me cope with loss...for many years I asked God , "Why?" I ask God, "What can I do this day?"...and remember my Blessings...

What does forgiveness feel like?
"Once you have set each other free, your heart feels lighter, you have an overwhelming feeling of peace. You suddenly understand it all, the reason you are here, the lessons that you need to learn while on this earth plane. You will never be the same, because in every situation you can begin to feel compassion, humility and gratitude toward your fellow travelers here on earth. You can LOVE again. You are a radiant being moving forward in life."
From Linda Foltyn

Hello and happy Tuesday my dear friend!

I am once again blown away by your thoughts and your keen gift in understanding this earth plane.

I know by now..actually knew early on (once I visited your page) that you are a very old and wise soul.

I remember when I was a pretty young kid..maybe 19 or so and I was working in an Employment Agency. It was my job to match candidates to job openings..most of the time for a fee...sometimes the employer paid...sometimes the candidate paid.

That didn't really sit well with me..especially if the employer using our agency advertised the opening in the newspaper also. If they did this the candidate would have to pay our fee..pretty high even back in those days.

One day I had a young mother (older than me by 10 yrs or so) come into our office. She was beside herself looking for a job. She had just separated from her husband and had a small child. The only job I had open that matched her skill set was the one that would cost her a fee. I couldn't take her money. Why should she have to pay if she might be hired by this employer simply by reading the want ads that morning?

Now I knew my boss wouldn't go along with this explanation..and I knew I was cutting off my own opportunity to earn $$..but thank goodness I made the right decision...I gave her the name and address of the employer and told her not to breathe a word that I had sent her..and not to even call me back to tell me if she had actually gotten hired.

She started crying softly and grabbed my hand from across the desk..."God bless you, she said, you are a very old soul and I thank God that I found you today"....well of course that totally freaked me out at the time..not knowing anything about so called 'old souls'...but now I wear that badge with honor and wear yours well too my friend! Thank you for your beautiful card...I agree that all old souls find each other..and connect! I'm grateful to have found you! emoticon emoticon

Breathtaking. I feel life in your SoulCollages, Jonesey. I feel you.

My own experience with loss is lifelong and successive, and I resonate with your words, and appreciate how well you articulated the gift in staying present moment-by-moment.

There's a reward in not running; we experience another loss, when we do.
