Another tough week, trying to regain my focus

I knew going into last week it was going to be a health challenge because of how busy it was going to be but things were bad. I'm so stressed and when I'm stressed I eat. In addition to being what is usually one of the busiest weeks of the year my daugther was sick and has been sick for weeks and no one doctor has been fully able to explain why she is sick so we spent last week going to several doctors, having multiple draws of bloodwork done and having to deal with a sick, depressed child who is just tired of being sick. She hasn't been sleeping well and when you're child doesn't sleep, you don't sleep. My daughter is 17 but it doesn't matter if they are 17 or 17 months. If your child is misearable and not sleeping well, neither are you.
So since I haven't been sleeping more than 3-4 hours a night I really don't have the strenght to exercise so between not exercising, not planning and preparing healthy food of course the weight wants to creep back on. I didn't even exercise this weekend but I'm not kicking myself over it. We had a busy weekend and spent part of is just play catch-up on rest. My daughter is feeling a tiny bit better but she is not herself. We have another doctor visit this week and will have the results of last week's bloodwork this week(it had to be sent out to a special lab and will take more than a week to come back). The most important thing in all of this is my daugther's health obviously but I don't want to slip back into my bad habits because of the stress of that situation as well as my finances. I've done so well for nearly two months but life is challenging so you have to find ways to handle the challenges and still take good care of yourself. It's times like this when you have to lean on your faith and your support system to get you through it. I'm doing both and hope this week brings some positive resolve to my daughter's ill health, isn't as challenging and presents the opportunity to get back on track with my meal and exercise plan. My plan is to go the gym two days this week and go back to planning my food.
