Wow! Where does time go?

I changed up my training schedule with the idea of once again jump-starting my weight loss. I started an interval training program with the intention of daily recording my results & experiences.

Suddenly it's almost a month later & I haven't recorded anything. I have however, and more importantly, kept up with my plan to mix things up. In addition to interval training on the treadmill I've also been walking in the hills in my neighborhood. Result? I lost 1 1/2 pounds & 1/2 inch on my hips! I've also changed the amount I workout - instead of working out every day at a low intensity I work out, when I'm feeling strong, at a higher intensity. Generally that means I workout 3 or 4 days in a row, then take a day off. On my day off I try to be active - the dog's got to me walked - in a smaller, less formal way.

I've also gotten less rigid about my diet - but somehow i still end up being within my range. I think I learned a lot about what I was actually eating (too much!) by recording everything faithfully in the nutrition tracker. Now I'm able to stay on track without consulting the tracker before I eat something. Which was a great way to learn!

Hopefully my progress will continue. After losing another 1/2 pound I'll switch my "logo" from lost 15 pounds to lost 20!
