September is the New January?

I saw this title in a magazine, and the article was about how September, with all the "back to school, summer's over" activities that it's really the new January. "The perfect time to assess and reset your goals." All well and good. I've always been a bit mystified about the "magic" of the new year dawning, fitness club memberships increasing (but watch the attendance as the end of Feb and March rolls around), all the pressure to have "new years resolutions" and the resulting agony for those who "don't have the willpower" to keep them.

EVERYDAY provides the opportunity to make it your best day ever. Heck, every decision you make to eat well, be active, take care of your head, heart, family.....those are the opportunities to make your life what you want it to be. Don't wait until the first of the month, Monday, tomorrow. Don't deride yourself, just live it and know that if you stumble your next decisions will be better informed.
