Back at it again...after a very stressful week.

Well, it's been a while - I was off SP most of last week - just too much work and didn't want to spend every waking minute on the computer. Staying up late left me too tired to work out much, and ended up eating to cope with the stress - not way over the top eating, but enough that I gained back 2 of those pounds I worked hard to lose. Lost track of keeping track, as well. But I'm back at it again. Looks like this week will be just as stressful, but I'll deal with it better than I did last week!

So today on my lunch walk I went into the local Curves and talked about how much it will cost to join. Too rich for my blood this month, but hopefully next month I can afford the start-up fee and the monthly dues. I need some structure to get the strength training in as I can't seem to do it on my own at home. I'll join Curves next month since it's so close to work - 10 minute walk there, work out for 30 or so minutes, 10 minute walk back. It will mean I'll be eating my lunch while working, but I think it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make to keep me motivated to lose this weight. After seeing the pounds gained back this weekend, it just reminds me that I need to stay focused and work through the stress and not let it sidetrack me from the bigger picture.

So yes, I'll be working tonight...and probably most nights this week. But that's temporary. My body isn't!! My son was poking my burrito roll again today...just another gentle reminder of what this journey is for!!
