I think you're gorgeous! I hate feeling like the "fat one" in the photo. But, we are both trying to become more healthy because we care about ourselves! I just started my journey two weeks ago and it's hard, but worth it. I try to think, "what can i do for myself today. . .because I care about ME?"

For me, I'm doing weight training (Joyce Vedral's Definition) every other day and on the other days I just started the Couch to 5k. I'm also going for walks everyday. I LOVE food, so I'm trying to eat foods that are healthy. I was inspired after reading Tosca Reno's Eat Clean Diet- all about putting healthy things in your body. I'm counting calories and learning to eat things that are delicious and healthy.

Good luck, you can do this! I've started using Spark People this past week or so and it's been so encouraging! I'm here, if you ever need to message! :) In this past week I've already has such encouragement from other members, and it's helped a lot reading people's successes and failures and how they picked themselves back up again in order to do it all over.

first off i want to say that you are a very beautiful women and i bet you have a great personality also. i started here in jan after setting up my page i logged all my food. learned how to eat correctly.joined some teams and read any nutrition advice i could get here. started small changes that was the key. i would walk 10 minutes everyday,go to the gym and do weights twice a week for 10 minutes. i would watch people to see what they are doing.i stopped frying food, made most food myself added one vegetable or fruit every week. now i walk one hour most days with my ipod motivational music and my dog. i strength train at the gym for 45 minutes twice a week and do 20 mins on elliptical while there.i sometimes run when i walk. i eat good and don't have to log my food anymore.three meals all healthy and snacks of fruit added in. this was all done slowly. this summer i swam slowly in the pool.i have lost 20 pounds. you can do this. small slow changes. look me up any time you need help. emoticon

Hi There! I wanted to congratulate you on taking the initiative to losing weight. For me it has been a 4 year battle where i've had ups and downs. Through the years i've learned that I over-eat and that was one of my big issues that I had to deal with if I was to be successful with weight loss. Still to this day its a battle and I definitely have to be more "present" when i'm eating and listen to my body when it is full. I sometimes take the green tea appetite suppressant pills or drink green tea as I've found that it helps me not to feel as hungry. There are other little things that I've incorporated into my life style over the years that contributes to my weight loss but I would definitely figure out one issue that is a major concern for you and deal with that before adding/changing anything else. Good luck and take it day by day!
