The Pig-out is OVER

Monday, September 07, 2009

I've only kept to my calorie count twice this month - NOT good! And this morning, I've gained 2.8 pounds since yesterday. Holiday or no holiday, today I'm going to get back on track! I may be out of my Survivor challenge, because I weighed 186 on Friday, and in that challenge, if you gain, you're out. But I'll keep going, just like the Biggest Loser people do. Tomorow is my first Weigh-in for the Tri-Team Challenge. I'm motivated for that!

I've never actually watched the Biggest Loser. It always seemed to me that obese people have enough of self-esteem issues - being kicked off of a team on national TV seems just cruel. I think I'm going to watch it, though. I'd love to hear some other feedback on the show.

By the way, did anyone watch Dance Your Ass Off? I had been watching that all summer, and suddenly I remembered that the name Shayla was familiar. My daughter's best friend when she was in school in California was Shayla. I thought, no, it couldn't be... but I recorded it and had my daughter come over to see it - and guess what? It was her!!! My daughter was so happy for her (she won 2nd place). She hadn't heard from her in a couple of years, so she Myspaced her and Shayla wrote back and said that they had filmed that last year. Isn't that cool?

I hope you get back on track, Girlie. With diabeties you ahve to be careful.

why don't you and your O.C. friend come on down to the Water front next weekend either Saturday or Sunday and cheer me on as my Dragon Boat Team Blind Ambition Races in our final weekend of Racing. It is at the riverPlace Hotel in Portland in the back there are flagpoles and we race on the Willamette river. It should be a sunshiney weekend. Rain stops today and it should warm up.

    Have a great day!

I didn't watch the biggest loser until the last season. I really enjoyed it, it helped me keep on track with my weight loss and I was excited to watch it every week. When the people got kicked off, there were follow ups with them at the end of the show...the majority of them kept on working to lose the weight. The ending was a disappointed though...that's when it all came down to money and the contestants went crazy losing all they could in a short period of time. The show has its ups and downs but I am looking forward to when it starts again on Sept.15th.
