Played computer games all day today. It made me anxious and unhappy. So I'm off computer games for September, then will probably play a whole bunch in November until I can resolve to quit for that month too.

Not doing very well with the menu planning or grocery shopping. I did learn a lot about protein vs. fat content of various nuts, legumes and vegetables though. Also made hummus and replaced half the oil with water and it was very good.

I guess doing these blog entries is helpful because I realize I am improving even if it doesn't feel like it.

Hi there...your blogs are great. You are examining yourself and getting the 'stuff' that is rattling around in your head out into the world. I always think that once that is can move on...kinda like it frees up brain space...erp? Strange but true for me. Check out my new friend DSNYGIRL73..and her adventures in going 'raw' cool is that? I have thought about it for months....and maybe she has lit the spark to give it a try...hummmm?

I was wondering that too. For me I think it's the guilt that I'm not actually doing something productive. I think I feel better if I've enjoyed fresh air or accomplished something but not sure if it's nature or society telling me to get out and enjoy the world.

I am curious why do you feel unhappy when you play video games? My son like to play a lot and I am wanting him not too.
