Persevere even when you want to quit
More than likely this is not your first diet, so you’re familiar with mental diet traps. I’m talking about the things that can lead you off course. Imagine how wonderful it would be to never have to face them ever again! The truth is, with a little work, you can bypass them. Following these simple rules will make losing weight more enjoyable and maybe just a little easier, too:
~Weigh yourself weekly, not daily. Daily weigh-ins will drive you crazy. Seeing those daily ups and downs can cause you to doubt yourself and make unnecessary changes.
~Get away from negative people. The truth is, there will always be someone questioning what you’re doing. Let them have their opinions; stay true to yourself.
~Remember it’s not going to happen overnight. Periodically remind yourself why you’re losing weight. It’s an incredible motivator
As you take this journey, the important thing is to persevere and know you’re going to reach your goal – and just think how great you’ll feel!
