Sleep, precious sleep...

Remember when you were a kid and could fall asleep on a dime? No matter where you were as a kid, if you decided to fall asleep, you would.

Well, those days are gone! I've noticed lately, it doesn't matter when I go to bed, I just can't fall asleep like I use to. Before my daughter was born, I could sleep anywhere and fast.

Now I'm lucky if I get 6 hours of sleep, it seems every little noise is waking me up. I even wear ear plugs from time to time. It doesn't matter what I do, I just can't get those precious 8 hours of sleep.

Here's hoping that I will turn this around with more exercise that I do, that my body will relax and fall asleep again!

    Here I am up at 4am writing this to you.
    I run in spurts. Some nights 4-5 hours sleep and some 9 hours (these are very few)

    I even take Melatonin before I go to bed. That helps get me there, but don't keep me there.
