Today was my Friday. After being forced to volunteer to work last weekend (guess that's not really volunteering, huh?), I get tomorrow off, for a three day weekend. It's been a rough week. The typical work junk, lists that get longer instead of shorter, "emergencies" that wouldn't have existed had certain people planned correctly...the usual. Unfortunately, it was time for Aunt Flo to show up. Granted, I only have this issue once every three months thanks to my awesome no-baby pills, but it's still a drag. I wind up being absolutely exhausted and crabby.
So, I had some moments of weakness. I ate pizza twice this week, and I wound up having to cobble together lunch at the staff cafeteria at work due to being too tired to bring my lunch. Grrr. I didn't work out the way I planned, either.
Plus, my shoulders/neck/arms were especially bad this week. I can tell the inflammation is down, but the numbness and tingling was worse, and I had more weird muscle twitches and pain in my neck, shoulders, and between the shoulder blades. I wanted to go to the chiro today, but she was out of the office. On the bright side, I have my neurologist follow up tomorrow, and I am optimistic he will have some answers for me.
Also on the bright side, I FINALLY have the opportunity to take burlesque classes! I start next week, and the classes run through the end of October. So, I will have a little extra activity, and will really be motivated to get in shape!!!
One more bright thing...my dear friend and I submitted our handicrafts for a juried art and craft show. It is one of the largest in town, and would be a super-fantastic opportunity for both of us. We are waiting on pins and needles until the end of the month...so any finger crossing and posotive energy sent our way will be mucho appreciated!!!
Have a wonderful weekend m'dears! Those celebrating Labor Day here in the states: try not to overindulge too much at all those barbeques. And everyone else, be just as strong. You are all amazing, inspirational people!!!
