Remember When?

For many of us, when we put on weight, we also abandon the essence of who we are. We don’t dare dress the way we’d really like to, or avoid our favorite activities because of the burden of extra weight. We don’t feel comfortable with ourselves, and it affects so much of our lives. All of a sudden – our social circle shrinks – we find our self wearing sweats more than regular clothes – we throw our hair back in a pony tail instead of taking the time to style it. We just kinda, give up.

But here’s the good news. Now that you’re losing weight, it’s only a matter of time until you rediscover all those “things” that make you feel like you! Soon the “old you” will surface. It’s one of the best things about weight loss and something to look forward to from now on. Enjoy!

    When gaining, I did withdraw and 'dress down' instead of being me. But, I think I did the rest backwards! I started bellydancing and the me came back. That's when I was able to lose the weight.
