My journey back to Sparks

Thursday, September 03, 2009

It has been a long time since I have been on sparkpeople. I have been going through a lot of health issues in the past year and it has finally taken it's toll.

It's been really difficult juggling school and work throughout all this and i have missed so much work that financially life has been a nightmare. One positive thing in all this is that I have reached my ideal weight of 130 pounds, but my doctor isn't happy about it so I have to watch my weight these days.

I have completed all my exams and am officially a chiropractor, but I still have a year and a half before I finish my acupuncture program.

During my time of despair one amazing thing came out of it. I was able to find my way back to God and have since been going back to church which has given me a purpose that I have not had for a long time.

I am trying to get back on track of sparking because this site has helped me so much and I have been blessed to make some amazing friends.

Thank you to everyone that kept posting messages while I wasn't posting back. I read them and they helped me on so many days when I could not get out of bed or felt alone.

To all of you that are reading this and feel that there is no hope and that you are alone, just know that you have people that care about you. This site is an amazing place with wonderful caring people.

I wish you lived in Florida. I'd love to have a Chiropractor friend.. Does your Doctor think you are too slim? I didn't understand that part.

    Good to hear from you.

Anastasia we all have missed you terribly We are so glad you are back I personally love you. You have been such an inspiration to so many of us. I am so sorry that you have been sick. I can appreciate your feelings of despair. You know how often I have been sick. It robs you of your energy and you get stopped in your tracks. Sometimes thats the way the Lord gets our attention to .We always seem to put Him behind until we have problems, Since I have been back to church and pay my tithes I find Blessings coming in all forms. I am very glad to hear that you are with Him again. He is the only one guaranteed to help us rain or shine. I will keep you in my prayers my dear friend and God bless you. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
