The summer has gone and as it was coming to a close, it took all my focus and motivation away with it. But September has begun and with it all those memories of starting a new year: school supplies, new clothes, back with old friends after a summer apart, new friends, new teachers, new things to learn, walking through the falling leaves and cooler weather. What an inspiration to put one foot in front of the other and start walking on the path to better health! I marked the first day of the month yesterday by taking a 5-mile walk--much more difficult after such a lazy August but still accomplished. Each day I will add a piece of the puzzle back till it's once again complete. I'm hoping my Sparkfriends can help me stay on the path.
