I am exhausted...

And I didn't even exercise today! Between a near meltdown at Mass this morning with my son to countless hours on my feet preparing food for the week, and not even getting it all done (no veggie packs yet), I'm tired. JP has been pushing buttons all day and I'm trying to stay on an even keel, but I didn't even get out to walk. In a way, I can't wait for him to be old enough to be left in the house alone so when I need a walk, I can JUST TAKE ONE instead of it turning into an issue and having to give up on it altogether.

On the bright side, I'm enjoying nice glass of wine tonight, tracked it already to make sure it fits in with today's counts and it's not taking away from anything else I should be eating. I'm just enjoying it and a whole wheat fig cookie.

This weekend's been a bit stressful because I noticed last night when giving my son a bath that the ceiling right above his bathtub is WET and WARPED!! AACKK!!! The toilet upstairs is leaking! So I shut off the water valve, taped the toilet shut (to remind us both to not use it), called the landlord (who's currently in Alaska working) and tomorrow morning the handyman will be here to inspect and hopefully fix. But I know they'll need to replace the ceiling over the bathtub - it looks pretty bad and it's cracked and I was worried all weekend it was going to come crashing down. When I saw it, I told JP bath was over in 2 minutes, gave him the fastest cleaning and hair washing ever, and got him OUT from under that disaster waiting to happen. YIKES!

But the landlord is taking it well, especially since SHE INSTALLED THE TOILET! When she called me, she knew what the problem was already! Well, that's good and the handyman will be here tomorrow at 9AM to look at it all and see what needs to be done. I'll be glad when I don't have to keep going downstairs to go to the bathroom, but on the bright side - it's extra steps in the day (and the middle of the night).
Ah well, it's a short week and a long weekend coming up. I can have a really good de-stress then (as long as my toilet is fixed!).

Have a great Spark week!
