Today has been a great day. I promise that I am not always this "pollyanna" happy. No offense to anyone that is named Pollyanna. I just have to say that I have been checking out the motivation tab and have found some major inspiration. I watched the Team Hoyt video and have not been the same since. What a powerful and moving story. Also on one of the Sparkpages that I was so blessed to run across a wonderful man named Michael is blogging and has the best way of putting things- I hope he saves all of his entries and makes a book of it! I was so inspired that even after the 4 miles on the treadmill in the am and the weightlifting at the gym I decided to scroll my ipod over to the podrunner couch to 5k series that I had tried in the past. There it was- could I just do the first week session one? Yes I could and did. I almost quit but then a fellow weightlifter in a wheelchair passed by in front of my treadmill. How could I stop knowing what a blessing I have just being able to walk, to run, to feel my legs! I have so much to be and to do- come on with me, you cheer for me and I'll cheer for you and we'll do it together!!!!

    I find that it is indeed a blessing to run, or to even have the opportunity to think about healthy food and healthy living. There are so many people in world who will never be able to run. There are so many for whom just getting any food at all is a chore. There are even some people in this world that will live their entire lives being undernourished. The fact that I have a weight problem goes to show just how blessed I am.

    I think a little "Pollyanna" is in order when I count my many blessings.

    Oh, you're using Podrunner too! I used to do it but sometimes I don't like the music mix that he uses, haha. Halfway through treadmill I'll go..."uh, not feeling this!". But glad it's working for you.

    My way is always to work out with a smile on my face, even if I woke up feeling horrible. That way I actually force myself to feel 'fun'. Works everytime! (Used this to drag myself to lectures that I dislike too. ;) )

    If you like, we can motivate each other. :D
