Goal! ,,, Goal! ... Goal!

The last couple of months seem to be the hardest but I finally made goal. Back in January I was shooting to make goal by Aug 1. I had to settle for the end of August. Part of that was my fault. I saw myself slipping ever so slightly with the eating.

The last couple of weeks my wife started Weight Watchers (I tried to talk her into SP) and not having chips in the house helped me out a lot! Still very very much my weakness, and football season right around the corner. Summer was also hard with the BBQs and outdoor picnics. At least it wasn't too hard to get in a lot of activity.

Okay now that I made goal, I'll have to set another one. I think maybe 190, with 185 not being out of the question, but I'll have to think about it.

    That's great Jeff! I have the advantage of living alone, so if I have something at home I don't want to eat I can only blame myself. It does help so much not to have things around you don't want to eat. That sounds so simple, but it's not always easy to achieve in a world with other people.

    Hm, maybe you'll entice your DW to join a Spark WW team!

    You can pass this on. I did WW, it worked great and I lost over 60 lbs. I gained 1/2 of it back, joined LA Weight Loss and it worked great. I lost 1/2 of the 1/2 I'd gained back. Then I left LA and gained it all back, short about 1 1/2 lbs. I really believe that if I had Spark along with those programs I would have had more continued success. The 24/7 support here, the additional tools and info make such a difference.

    In any case, you'll have fun getting healthy together!

    Good Job, Jeff! You know, having your wife join Weight Watchers is going to help you more than you know, probably. Whatever Mama does, the rest of the family follows suit. With me cutting out baked goods and exercising, 2 of my daughters and my husband have also lost weight. That's so neat for you that she's on board, too (even though it's a different ship!)
