Wow, I've come a LONG way!

So, now I've been here at Sparkpeople for a little over a month. I've definitely dropped one dress size already, which is incredible. I've actually had to start weeding out the clothes that are too large for me (Goodwill, here I come-I am NOT keeping those clothes). I have a tremendous amount of energy, which compared to the lethargic couch potato I was, is a huge step forward. I have done really well with logging in every day and tracking my food and exercise. That added accountability really helps. But the biggest success so far has been how much more fit I am.
Today I completed Leslie Sansone's Walk and Jog, which is a 30 minute, 2 1/2 mile intense walk with 2-3 minute intervals of jogging mixed in. There is no way I could've done this a month ago. As a matter of fact, I've had the video for a couple of months and it's basically been collecting dust on my shelf. But I've been doing some shorter intervals of jogging when I go out for my walk, and so I decided to give it a try. Not only did I complete it, but I also did so without being out of breath (although I worked up a great sweat!) So I think this is a major milestone for me, as far as my fitness level is concerned. Now I will include the video in my cardio rotation. Can't wait to do it again. Pretty good for a girl who weighed 232 pounds just over a month ago (and by the way, I weighed myself this morning, and I'm down to 220!) Go me!!
