Stuff going on

That stupid car window cost us $250. Sheesh. That kid is not getting any allowance or extra money from me for a while. He is also gonna have to do some major chores.

Got 2 new kittens last night. Biggest one is no bigger than a soda can. Other is about half that size. 6 weeks old. Named them Stormy (grey cat) and Sage (tan). Our 10 month old cat isn't real happy at the moment, but I think its because they are so tiny. The dog doesn't care. She just ignores them most of the time. She did try playing with them last night, but they don't move very fast so it wasn't fun for her.

The dog is so easygoing. She is only about 14 pounds, so same size as the grown cats. We have had neighbor dogs in and out of our house as well as guinea pigs and assorted other things. She would try to play with the pigs too, but you could put them down and they would maybe go 5 feet in 30 minutes. They didn't run when she would crouch down and jump at them. She lost interest. About all she will do is chase the big cat around. Gives them both some exercise.

When my brother was little he and a friend threw rocks from under a ditch. Ended up hitting a windshield. My dad said no problem, he'd pay 1/2 and my brother was going to pay my dad back - through chores and extra farm work. His friends parents paid their 1/2 and they didn't make their son pay them back. My brother said in the long run, he learned something valuable. 'Course in the short run, he really thought it was unfair. But hey, kids want to do stupid stuff, they suffer the consequences. Its just a real shame that its the parents that have to do the actual paying though.

Ah sweet on the kitties! Too funny how your dog doesn't care as they are far too small to play right now. Might care later if they start to bug eh. ;)
