Am I the only one. I seem to always fight a little voice in my head. Have you?
You know the voice' "You don't have to wake up now to get your work out in, sleep in, one missed workout won't hurt you" OR "It's too hot to go outside and workout, how about a nice nap instead" OR "Go ahead and have that second helping what harm can it do"
When I first started Spark People I would have to say the voice was a lot louder and more tempting than it is now. Sometimes it is ok to give in to that little voice as long as it truly is your decision, you've weighed the consequences , and have a backup plan. For the most part I have learned it is best to ignore that voice and follow through with what you know you should do, and most important what you had planned to do. The reason is that when you make an exception, it becomes easier to make another and then another. Pretty soon that little voice is controlling you.
