“Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender; it’s holy ground. There’s no greater investment.” - Stephen Covey.

As I trudged through my elliptical machine workout this morning, I thought about this quote. I used to be able to do 45 minutes on the elliptical when I was in better shape. Today, I made it for 20 minutes. My heart rate started getting really high, and I decided to stop at 20. I just started seriously trying to get healthy, and I was reminded that change does not happen overnight. Being patient with yourself is very important, especially in the exercise realm. I was disappointed at having to stop, but also proud that I did 20!

Self-Growth, to me, is learning yourself and your body. Patience is necessary. It will be a tough road, but the benefits WILL happen.
