I Made It!

Wednesday, August 26, 2009

Today is celebration day for me! My goal was to be 145# by 9-2-09 - made it a week early!
BUT - instead of splurging on food in celebration for the loss of 71.2# over the last year, we will go shopping! LOL...
Nah -I have replaced the larger attire as I went along, and then got to replace, again and again.
I am so thankful God has helped me reach this goal, for it was through much prayer and persistence I was able to reach this point! It definitely takes a mind that is made up and persistence, as there are many temptations along the way... It is so WORTH IT!

I will give in to Mexican food though! A fajita is not too bad as long as it is chicken and without the tortillos emoticon emoticon emoticon

Spark is such a wonderful way to go - in helping to keep track of everything, as well as the many friends who are here pulling for you. So many helpful points to aid you along the way. I am a member of a huge organization in weight loss which helped greatly, but I will have to say the online access for SparkPeople is my preference. I am just sorry I did not find the "Spark" until I was way into this journey ...

Happy trails to all who are in this with me! WE CAN DO I!

Hugs and best wishes to all
