Tackle it Tuesday is what a spark’s friend (MZAQUARIAN) called it last week…its kind of a catchy phrase I must add.
So that is exactly what I have attempted to do today! So last night I went to bed early, which doesn’t happen that often, but at the cost of not exercising, which is not good but I was well rested this morning which never happens. Woke up an extra hour early because I knew I had to start work early because I had a doctor’s appointment and didn’t want to get behind, 1st successful goal. Took a shower, jumped on the scale with confidence (well not really jump) although my weigh-in day is Sunday for a reading of 248.6 a 1.2 pound loss since Sunday
oh yea I’m excited 2nd successful goal. So I head into work to only work for 2 hours before my appointment and I am starving because I can’t eat before the doctor’s appointment but I make it through those 2 hours with over a half of day’s work completed already (thanks for remote access…being able to work from home) 3rd successful goal. I make it to the doctor’s office 5mins before my appointment I’m on time to have to wait 45min before the doctor calls me back and another 10mins of waiting for her to come in and check me but I’m still patient and calm 4th successful goal.
Doctor now checks my bodily functions as they call it for me to get on the scale and be 46 pounds lighter than the last visit (the look on her face priceless)
5th successful goal. So far the day is going great but before the appointment ends the best new of this over an hour doctor’s visit in which the doctor only seen me like 10 minutes of no more diabetes medicines this news has been along time waiting…no this does not mean I am cured but this means I have started controlling my type 2 diabetes 6th successful goal.
The day is not over yet but I can say that I have been tackling Tuesday with a “smile on my face. No one can determine my destiny but myself.
6 goals successfully accomplished in a little over half of a day’s time and I was not even aiming to accomplish them but glad I did.
1. Got up early and started tackling my day…
2. Loss 1.2 pounds
3. Accomplished over a half of days work in around 2 hours
4. Being patient (patience is a virtue) something I am not always good at…
5. Doctor’s expression to my success is priceless
6. NO MORE Med's for now…
