Not as bad as feared...

I wasn't sure about exercise today - I stayed up too late last night watching Iron Man. I tried to only watch half of it, but I enjoyed it too much! When it was time to get up this morning, I fell back asleep and when I finally crawled out of bed, it was too late to do my pilates, so it was off to the shower and get ready for work. My first thought was, "oh, boy...not gonna get the exercise done today."

Lunchtime, I did take my walk to return some books to the library - good.
When I got back to the office, I did some wall push-ups while I waited for lunch to cook. Okay...snuck in some strength training.

Got home, hoping JP would want to go for a walk to the park to play ball - nope. So I said fine - while you watch Veggie Tales, I'll do the 10-minute cardio blast before dinner. Bingo - hit my 30 minute cardio after adding that time to the day. Also squeezed in some crunches and pelvic lifts - wahoo! Got the strength training and cardio done today!!

See, even when I wake up late, I can still meet my goals. It's just a matter of finding the holes and saying, "Why not do it now."

    Good job.
    Ten minutes here, ten minutes there, it all adds up.
    It's been suggested to pace while talking on the phone. It works as long as you don't need to take notes. emoticon
    You can do leg lifts while on the phone, too.
    OK, it's not formal and it doesn't require changing clothes, but your body doesn't know this and loves the attention. Keep it up.
