10 lb Challenge ~ August (Day 24)

This is why people don't diet!!! They get frustrated with staying the same weight all month when they are trying so hard. Thank goodness I saw some inches drop off, otherwise I'd be very discouraged! I've been doing this long enough to know that you have to stay the course...and eventually you'll get there.


PS - Yeah, those 2 lbs showed back up, I'm not sure they showed back up to stay, but when you see them come to visit, you want to smack the scale. Lord give me patience!!

    Hey girl... I agree with Shar and Chole but one thing I do need to throw out there is that we sometimes forget the things we do that make it a little harder on ourselves... like oh I dont know... alchol has empty useless calories... tee hee...

    Another thing to remember is that you are working out and building muscle. Even though you didn't lose weight you lost inches...showing that you are building the more dense muscle! Keep up the good work and it will pay off in the long run!

    I hate that too...and I do end up losing patience and gaining some back. Keep with it and know that even if the scale doesn't move, you are still doing something good for your body! emoticon
