It's been a while . . .

So, I haven't posted anything in like over a month, and it seems that the summer is almost gone! (At least theoretically in Wisconsin.)

I'm still going to the gym 4-5 times a week, with Zumba on Tuesdays and Thursdays & some cardio and weight training on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Saturdays. I am no longer working one-on-one with my personal trainer, Heather, but I am doing the workouts that she gave me still. Since going on my own, I went back to the first workout that she had me do, and I can't believe how much progress I have made since the middle of April, when I began working out with her. The first time I worked out with her, I almost passed out. But when I went back to that first workout on my own, not only was I more energetic and felt like I could keep going, but I actually increased the weight a little as well. That's definitely made me feel a whole lot better about my myself.

Overall, I'm down 18 lbs. Yay! I went on a shopping trip with my mom this afternoon, and I was looking some pants for work, since the ones that I wear now are becoming too loose, and I'm running out of belt notches! Another pick me up!

Seeing all of my successes motivates me even more, even though I feel like I've plateaued somewhat. But still so far so good! Pretty soon it'll be time to go try on bridesmaids dresses!
