Time to take care of me!! And I mean it!!

Saturday, August 22, 2009

This really does sound like abroken record, but once more I'm starting out.

I'm going to work on eating only when I'm hungry, and stopping when I'm satisfied. I did this years ago with Weigh Down Workshop and it really is great! God designed us to know when and what to eat -- we've just messed it up over the years. Tomorrow I'm starting with a fast to empty my stomach -- get to "absolute empty". And then start listening to my body. The job I have now is flexible enough for me to be able to eat whenever I'm hungry, which is good. I'm also going to use some of the principles I learned from The Beck Diet Solution, too, such as eating slowly, not empty munching, etc.

I also am going to start exercising again. Every muscle I have has totally relaxed! ARGH! I'm not going to kill myself, just move my body. This heat is supposed to break too so maybe we can start walking again.

I'm going make sure I check in here often. I really need the support! and positivity!! Thanks!

It's great that you are going to start listening to your body! It's hard to stay focused sometimes, but you can do it!
