After all, how else will I know if I'm hitting 10,000 steps a day? It will be interesting to see how close or far I am, now that I'm taking walks at lunch every day. Still have to figure out what to do when it starts raining - I don't mind walking in a light rain, but not a heavy downpour...and here in the NW, you just never know what it's going to do at any given moment. Although, this week it's definitely been sunny and I've been enjoying it, especially after the heat we had last month - this is nice change for hot weather and I won't complain!
So tomorrow I'm going to see just how many steps I take a day and see how many more I need to take to reach a 10,000 benchmark. It's cool, because the pedometer came with a little booklet that gives a rough outline of how to increase your step count over time to reach 10,000. I'm hoping I'm close, but we'll know more tomorrow!
I know in the office, I probably get up and walk around more than anyone else (it's all the water I'm drinking!). My desk is the furthest from the bathroom, so I have the farthest to walk - helps out the cause, anyways!
