Wow, Dusting off my running shoes!

Pfft, retraining to jog (yes, jog) lol.. I can't seem to get moving faster than a jog) is really a work-out especially in the heat lol. I so enjoyed it though.. Makes me feel good about myself.

I had previously been training at the beginning of the year. Trained to walk/run a half marathon, it was my first and I was so nervous, met some really nice ladies, one had a bad hip so we walked the whole thing. Hah! But I did it! Continued training and walk/ran(jogged) my first 5k. I am now hoping to do the same with a few more 5k's and come Spring walk/jog my first Half.

I guess I needed to day dream and graze on that plateau for a bit, BUT... the grass IS greener on the other side! *Grins*

    I am so glad that you were able to get out and meet up w/good people! I'm actually envious (my bad knee/hip can't jog anymore, & I used to in my younger days ...).

    Keep us posted on the 5k's you decide to do so I can cheer you on. You go Rhae!!!
