Someday I'll be able to go for a walk after dinner without having an argument with my son about him wanting to do something else he earlier said no to. Someday we'll be able to make our evening plans and stick to them. Someday we'll be able to enjoy a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood without thinking about all the other things we would rather be doing, like playing baseball or knocking down the enemy castle or watching tv. Someday...just not today!

But still, it was a good day. I kind of expected he would change his mind, so the tantrum didn't come as a big surprise. And they're getting blissfully shorter, too.

Had a good walk at lunch and found that I can do wall push-ups while my lunch is heating up or while I'm waiting for water to boil for dinner. I'm slowly learning different exercises that I can sneak in during the day without having to "make time" for them. But I'm still making time for other exercise, too, like my lunchtime walks and morning pilates. I'm sure this isn't optimal, but at least it's a start! Hey...this is only my third week after all!

Have a great day!

Dead on, my friend. My motto lately has been a simple one:

It feels like I'm running out of "somedays."

    Good luck to you!
