I did it!! I jogged 1 mile :)

I have been wanting to do it for some time - and today I did it!!!

Okay, I had to slow the pace WAY down, but I jogged for 14 minutes, which at a 14 min mile pace, makes it a full mile! I figure the important thing is that I hung in there for the mile, not how fast it was. I know speed will improve with practice and weight loss.

After jogging for that mile, I walked for 15 minutes and jogged another 1/2 mile.

I hate exercise....but it's important to me that I be able to jog a mile at a good pace. It's the key to success I think.

Wow, what a difference about 13 months makes...guess what I just did?!?!?! I ran four miles at a 11:37 pace...

FOUR MILES .... AT AN 11 AND A HALF MINUTE PACE!!! OUTSIDE!!!!

Here it is folks....Last year in June I weighed 228 (25 lbs more). This is proof that if you stick with it...slow and steady will win the race.

    Me, I walk! Knees are too old to run or jog at my weight! LOL I don't need to have them going out on me any more!

    Dropping 2.5 min. off you pace is a GREAT accomplishment and you are doing more! WooHoo!!!
