Staying Focused

Thursday, August 13, 2009

Oh me, what have I found? I signed up from Sparkpeople over to Facebook, thinking it's like My Space and that was no problem. WEll I find myself on facebook far more than I ever was on My Space although at one time I did like the changing my page deal with My Space.

Well two days ago my daughter showed me this really fun game on Facebook. One was called Farmville and from there she showed me Farmtown. Both are so much fun, but yesterday I found myself there harvesting my crops, planting etc and I forgot to blog, search or even do my poll on Sparkpeople.

I skim by with 104 sparkpoints. Now today I want it to be a different day than yesterday. I want to stay focused and balance.

Anoyone else relax? Some things can be so habit forming and I think Farmville and Farmtown is just that. Habit Forming.

I was wondering where you were Ginny. My dgd set me up with a Facebook page and her mama told me about the games. Of course I had to try some out and lo and behold, I got hooked too. Today I am trying to be better and get my SP work done first. lol Have fun in Farmville.

I have so many of my Facebook "friends" sending me Farming requests but I'm resisting so far because I see how much time they spend on there. emoticon . It does look like fun, but I don't want to get started and then not be able to stop emoticon

My son wants me to join Facebook and I am resisting because I'm concentrating on SP. I can't do both and get anything done!
