In this quest to lose weight we often look for signs that we are making progress. For most of us it is getting on the scale. This process can be nerve racking, we often step on the scale maybe crossing our fingers or even saying a little prayer. Then after we step gather the nerve to step on the scale we sometimes find it hard to believe the results so we step on again hoping for a better number.
Then there are times when we wonder if anyone can tell if we are losing weight. After putting in the sweat and giving into the pain, taking the time to make those healthy eating choices we often hope to hear those gracious words…”are you losing weight?”
So I am elated to share with you my success. Regardless of the fact that this is a time consuming process; which takes hard work, commitment, endurance and dedication. Even though we know that we are making progress we still see ourselves in the same light. We get in our own way of moving forward, I’ve been there, I know how it can be. But the hard work will pay off in the long run. I know this too because I am now longer in a 2X, I have downgraded to a XL. Yes my friends, I now wear an XL and no longer have to pay that $1 or $2 extra for the bigger size.
I have no doubt that if I continue to put in the work, stay my course, make the necessary adjustments, substitute my unhealthy choices for healthier ones, I will make another major accomplishment on this quest to lose weight. I can do, you can do it, we can do it, but we must want it for ourselves.
Peace & Blessings
