Can I go back to sleep?

It is amazing how stress can make you tired! I took a road trip (well, via plane and automobile) with my 81 year old father, and his girlfriend, to see my brother in Maryland this past weekend. I was the chief tour guide, ticket holder, bill payer, driver, hotel room organizer, check in/check-out person, suitcase carrier, wheelchair pusher... laundress, personal shoper...with a father who is grouchy and rude and has serious anger management issues as he gets older.... being verbally abused the entire way (or he and his girlfriend bickering 10 hours a day)....

Can I say I am SO DONE with this past weekend? LOL.

I finally flipped my lid on the last 20 minutes going home...when we got into the car from the airport parking shuttle (in the rain). I could not hear them bicker one more minute! I turned and pointed my finger at both of them -- and said, "Not Another Word, from This Moment until we pull into the driveway at home because I am on my last nerve and the result will NOT be pretty!!" Boy it felt good to scream that outloud!

I am so thrilled that my band continues to work. Even though I was stuck in a small Maryland town with only fried foods and fattening stuff on all the buffet menus (what is up with that? No regular restaurants anywhere..) I still lost one half a pound over the last week. So I am happy.
