walking, walking, walking...

Saturday, August 08, 2009

My sister and I tried to go to the Spark gathering today, but it didn't quite work. I got a phone call shortly before we should have left, which delayed our departure. Then, we ended up walking the wrong way down Carling, which made me even later. By the time we got to the right place, the "gang" was already gone.

I hope to have better luck next time!

However, my sister and I walked to the meet-spot, and then walked around the Farm to Central Park (where our new house is!), and then back home. 9.28 miles in total! Let me tell you... I am tired.

We missed you today for sure... not a bad idea to maybe share a cell number to call each other - so if we miss each other at rendez-vous we can still connect.

Glad to see you still enjoyed your outing!

Oh darn it! I was looking forward to seeing you again. Next time I will hook up the SparkCam so you can see were we are emoticon

Or at the very least give you a cell phone number and we can talk you through finding us much like they do with passengers who take over the airplane controls because the pilots have all passed out or died. I'm pretty sure it happens a lot in real life because it sure does in the movies (e.g. snakes on a plane). I'm pretty sure finding us will be easier than landing a 747. Can't be that many gorillas are there out for a walk.

Wow! Congratulations! That was quite a walk. Sorry you missed the Spark gathering, though. I'd be disappointed, too. Looking on the bright side is a great thing to do.
